Brooke Sheena Sagherian, MA CCC-SLP
My educational training began with my Bachelor’s from the University of Michigan and Master’s at the University of Pittsburgh’s renowned Communication Sciences and Disorders program. Since my education, I have worked in a variety of settings including early on, pediatric outpatient clinics, acute care, inpatient rehabilitation and schools. Within each site, I have learned and grown a lot, but I have also realized that the constraints of these institutions limit the creativity, time and attention I can spend with each child.
That is why I have created Sunny Speech.
I aim to provide families with the tools they need to build a language rich environment for their children to thrive and grow. I care deeply about the neurodiverse community, advocating for their goal to bring awareness and acceptance of their wants and needs. My services expand to children with feeding disorders, Autism, Childhood Apraxia of Speech (CAS), speech sound production skills, augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) and early intervention. I look forward to meeting you and your families!
Speech-Language Pathologist
Sarah Shaw, MA CCC-SLP
I have been a practicing speech and language pathologist for over five years, and I truly love the work that I do. I earned my Master’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from The College of Saint Rose in Albany, New York. Throughout my career, I have had the opportunity to work in a variety of settings, including early intervention programs, outpatient clinics, and schools. Each experience has enriched my understanding of the diverse needs of children and has shaped my approach to providing individualized, effective therapy. My therapeutic focus is centered on meeting each child’s unique goals in the areas of feeding, speech sound disorders, stuttering, Autism, and early intervention. When I’m not working, you can find me reading, hiking, or traveling with my husband and our two children.
